Healing the Heart: Meditation Retreat - July 22-29 2017

Healing the Heart

Have you had trouble feeling the depths of your heart? Is it tough for you to experience serenity? Is peace, happiness and clarity too good for you to experience in person!? If your answer is somewhat yes to any of these questions, think no more…and join us for this heartwarming meditation retreat at Itha108 in Ithaca, Greece. This tiny unspoiled island is the mythical hometown of Odysseus in Homer’s The Odyssey and serves as an ideal sanctuary for our journey to the heart.

Join Heather Prete, mindfulness meditation instructor, and Chandresh Bhardwaj, renowned spiritual advisor, for a heart-centered awakening experience. The retreat is mindfully designed to heal your heart and help you discover your innate purpose through powerful, yet gentle, meditations and talks.

Heather shares mindfulness meditations to open your heart, while Chandresh leads you into his guided mantra meditations to heal your heart. It’s the powerful, and much-loved, combo of mindfulness and Eastern traditional meditations offered respectively by Heather and Chandresh!

Along the way, immerse yourself in Greek culture through visits to important archaeological sites, meditative hikes, beach time, and sunset watching. Optional daily yoga is also available to awaken your body and open you up to heightened levels of awareness.

Let’s help you shift from head to heart! Join us!

Chandresh Bhardwaj

Spiritual advisor, author and speaker

Chandresh is a LA-based spiritual advisor, international speaker, and author of the bestselling book, Break the Norms: Questioning Everything You Think You Know About God and Truth, Life and Death, Love and Sex. Chandresh hails from seven generations of Indian spiritual healers. Initially bound to the financial world, he quit his Wall Street job to launch the nonprofit Break the Norms Movement with the intention of awakening the human awareness from its conditioned self. He is a world traveler who frequently speaks about spirituality across the globe—from Europe to Asia and the Americas. “Spirituality is a borrowed knowledge,” says Chandresh. “We must meditate to experience our own version of it.” His Holiness the Dalai Lama wrote the foreword to Chandresh’s book, praising his “innovative teaching style” and “natural talent for spiritual matters.” Chandresh teaches weekly meditation classes at the DEN Meditation studio in LA.

The Venue

Itha108 is a boutique yoga retreat center and creative resort in Ithaca, Greece. This small island is famous for being the mythical hometown of Odysseus in Homer’s The Odyssey. The space overlooks the sea and the eastern coastline of neighbouring Kefalonia from an elevated wilderness of olive trees and exposed rocks. An emphasis on indoor-outdoor living ensures full use of the land and its treasures that extend to sweeping and hidden beaches below. Itha108 is comprised of a mixture of traditional Greek bungalows and yurts—each room is different, featuring a unique, boho-luxe design and artisan furnishings. The resort features various living rooms and common areas, a spacious yoga shala, and outdoor terraces—perfect for massages and watching the sun set.
